through the pandemic and smoky summer seasons, i routinely receive requests for me to waive our cancellation fee, to disregard the policies that we have agreed to on vrbocom. While I understand that circumstances sometimes make continuing with a trip to Tahoe, the policies are there for a reason. When you reserve your stay, you are offered cancellation protection by VRBO. There are also many companies not associated with VRBO that offer travel insurance.
