we also have 24 hour security, and can set up a cook for you Our little bay is a residential area, 20 minutes from the crowds in Tulum. We are surrounded by mangroves, almond trees, coco trees,.
there are many things to see and do within a 5 mile radius, such as xel ha eco park, dos ojos cenotes, (where people come from all over to swim in these sacred underground rivers)
there are also many ruins close by, coba a huge jungle site, with the tallest pyramid in the yucatan,and of course, the famous tulum ruins, right on the beach

Summary: We have greatly enjoyed our stay and our hosts (Dan and Vera) were gracious and helpful in any way that we could. This is a large house on a sizable property just feet away form the beach. The house is spacious and beautiful completed in a Mexican style. It has amazing terrace to view sunset and top master bedroom with direct view of the sea. The property is fully equipped with kitchen and other amenities to enjoy during the stay. The kayaks are available to swim into the bay and enjoy amazing snorkeling. I saw myriad of fish , lobsters and rays while snorkeling. The bay/beach is shallow which is nice given that the kids can play in water safely. This is a nice location for those who enjoy a long picturesque walk on the beach. For those who don't want to cook -- there is a hotel with a restaurant about 10-15 min walking distance by the beach. Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend it. I have no reservations.
