This super cute 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet sleeps up to 6 people and is very tastefully decorated giving a comfortable mountain vibe. This home is one story making it great for kids and grandparents alike. There is a detached WFH heated office w/ TRX gym that is perfect for those who are working from home and need a bit more privacy for meetings. the large, private backyard cannot be missed!

- there is no garage at this home Parking for up to 2 cars on the driveway.
- there is a super neat detached office for those working from home it is heated and has trx bands for a quick work out between zoom meetings!
- the hot tub is brand new and ready for you to use! please keep the cover and locked when not in use or it might blow away
- like most homes in tahoe, this home does not have ac If coming during July or August, it can be in the mid 80s. We do provide fans.
- after you book, we will message you for some additional info Please check the app often as this is how we prefer to communicate before and during your stay. You will also be required to sign a rental agreement which goes over the local rental laws in more detail as well as our other standard house rules. thank you!
- this home has a wood burning fireplace in the living room Wood is not provided, however, we can provide wood and a fire making kit for a small fee. Contact us after you book for details :).
→ the total occupancy is for adults and does not include children 5 & under so extra kids 5 & under are welcome just make sure there are enough beds for the kiddos!
our guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of a few locked owner closets

after you book with us, we will send you a message with some friendly 'get to know you' questions We will also send over our rental agreement for you to sign.
checking in
you will check in by going right to the home using the digital keypad located on the front door Your code will be messaged to you the day before you arrive. Make sure to pull the door toward you when you put the code in to ensure the deadbolt is aligned and wait a few moments before pushing it open.
communication
you can get ahold of us anytime on the app or via our local phone number However, there may be delays after 6pm when we are home with our families. We have a QR code guest book on the fridge that has a wealth of information in it and can help answer most questions.
pet rules
- we welcome responsible pet owners and up to 2 well behaved dogs
- please add the # of pets to the reservation before you book
- dogs must be potty trained so no puppies or pee pads please
- pet owners must pick up all dog poop before check out
- pets cannot be left unattended inside or in the yard unless in a crate (trust us, this is when damage happens)
- pets must be kept off all furniture and bedding Pet hair found on furniture or duvets will incur additional charges.
- you are responsible for any and all pet related damage including carpet cleans and door scratches
- pets must be leashed on walks in the neighborhood
vacation rental ordinance
we welcome guests who are in compliance with el dorado county's vacation rental ordinance Please see the “Additional House Rules” section for full ordinance. If our guests do not abide by the ordinance, there may be a charge of up to $2,000 to cover county fines. In rare cases, guests may be asked to leave our home and forfeit their reservation. local vacation rental laws
→ occupancy - we can’t have more people in the home than what we are permitted for
hot tub - *if this home has one* the hot tub cannot be used after 10pm This is VERY strictly enforced.
→ quiet hours - county quiet hours at all rentals are from 10pm - 8am There cannot be ANY noise after 10pm.
→ noise - this home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood therefore excessive noise is not well tolerated at any time of the day
→ parking - we can only have the number of cars on the property that we are permitted for Street parking, parking in the front yard or on the dirt is not allowed at rentals. Vehicles will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
→ trash - trash can never be left outside All trash must be bagged up neatly and placed into the bear box next to the driveway or HOA provided dumpster. If the bear box is full, please contact us for a trash pick up. Failure to properly store trash will result in a $250 clean up fee.
→ events - we cannot host weddings, bachelor or bachelorette parties or other large gatherings at our home
***failure to abide by the above ordinance will result in an automatic charge of $2,000 to cover fines from the county Other repercussions could include a citation from local law enforcement and in rare cases, eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. These are not Summit Tahoe rules, these are laws put forth by the local government that all guests must abide by.
25 years or older to rent You must be 25 years or older to book and be present at all times. You are responsible for everyone’s actions in your party.
check in & out times Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. Our check in and out times are industry standard times for Vacation Rentals in Tahoe. Early check in’s and late check out’s may be requested. However, if we have guests leaving or arriving on the same day as your request we may not be able to grant an early check in or a late check out.
non-smoking This home is a very strict non-smoking property, which includes the outside. Evidence of smoking including a smoke smell or cigarette butts on the ground will result in a $250 charge. If someone in your party smokes, please have them do so off the property lines and dispose of their butts appropriately.
damage We have a ‘you break, you buy’ policy when it comes to damage. We will do a detailed inspection after you check-out to check for new damage. If you notice damage from a previous guest or if damage occurs during your stay, please report it to us right away. Attempting to conceal or failing to report damage, will automatically result in being charged for the replacement or repair.
high fire danger Tahoe is under high fire danger year round. The following actions are strictly forbidden: bonfires, outdoor fires, firepits, charcoal BBQs, fireworks, using the gas BBQ or gas firepit on a red flag day, etc.
unforeseen home issues When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We do a detailed inspection before your arrival to ensure it’s clean and all amenities are functioning but despite our best efforts, sometimes things still happen. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them.
fraudulant claims We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate.
cancellations We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar. If the home gets rebooked, we will refund you minus a 3% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing.
security cameras Like all vacation rental homes in Tahoe, we have security cameras on the exterior and noise decibel monitoring devices inside. This is to ensure our guests abide by the strict local ordinance. There are never any cameras inside our home.
refunds Reporting issues to us after you leave does not often result in a refund. We prefer to handle issues while you are here in order to make your stay with us exceptional so please report all issues to us during your stay..
