this home offers a rare and exceptional location for your mountain retreat with the most extraordinary views of electra lake, the hermosa cliffs and the entire animas valley Feel at home in this beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bath home situated on two beautiful wooded acres offering privacy and seclusion with the Little Cascade Creek running through the property. Relax in rustic elegance as the sounds of a rushing waterfall, rustling pine trees and humming birds fill the air. Explore the outdoors right from your back deck or hike north along the creek to Columbine Lake and south to Electra Lake. fish from the banks of cascade creek or our beautiful columbine lake, both do not require permits and yes, they have fish!
enjoy watching sunsets over the spectacular hermosa cliffs while relaxing in the private hot tub or while sipping cocktails listening to the waterfall from the back deck If you are lucky, you may see an elk, deer, wild turkeys, quail, muskrats, beavers, raccoons, and other cute critters. There have been reported sightings of moose nearby, but not from the back deck as of yet.

The Old Schoolhouse Cafe located 5 miles away, serves the best pizza and calzones this side of Italy…well that’s our opinion anyway! There is always something to do at the ski resort with summer and fall activities for the entire family. Our mountain home has all the comforts of home combined with breathtaking views. This will truly be your home away from home.
