Welcome to Market Street House! Detailed cabinetry, rich hardwood floors, and antique finishes are featured throughout this enchanted Victorian home that was originally constructed in 1889. This space will whisk you away to a place of unparalleled vacation ambiance necessary for any Music City experience.
the layout:
this is a historic, 1890's victorian home There is a stately, breathtaking front porch that also wraps around one side. The front door enters the living room which includes a queen size sleeper sofa and fireplace. The next room is the dining room with a small fireplace. Off the dining room is the bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a door in the bedroom to exit onto the porch. Also off of the dining room is the kitchen which also includes a brick fireplace. Beyond the kitchen is a small passage nook area with a large window looking out to the yard with a long shelf and stools for enjoying coffee in the morning. Beyond the coffee nook is the bathroom. There is a second bedroom with two additional queen beds. New laundry area is right inside the unit as of July 2020 and houses a free washer and dryer for guest use.
*the unit is a private apartment in a house and has its own private door There is one other full time tenant that also lives onsite with their own private door and unit. This tenant does have outdoor cats. Please note that there are outdoor security cameras, but no cameras inside of the listing of course.
parking:
there are two areas to park One is right in front of the home on 2nd Ave and the other has a gated parking lot, which is located on the side of the home on Crenshaw St.

house rules:
during your stay, we ask that you remember to be respectful of your neighbors Quiet hours are from 10pm- 7am. For real, take the party to the Honky Tonks on Broadway. Additionally, thank you for respecting our 'no smoking' and 'no pets' policy so that we can keep our properties in the best condition possible. Pets include but are not limited to cats, zebras, livestock, and/or spouses. There are also no firearms permitted within the home or on the surrounding property. Should you choose to ignore this, there will be a $300 fine assessed for breaking either of these rules. We thank you for refraining and being respectful of our homes - please don't make us hunt you down for fines as it cuts into our nap time.
