Summary: If you are looking for an easy vacation, a pristine villa with all the amenities you could possibly need, a nice pool, wonderful playground for the kids, access to a lovely beach just 100 meters away with tavernas, restaurants, soft sand and gentle water, than this is the place for you. Alexandros & Christina were the nicest and most attentive hosts we could have asked for. Alexandros picked us up from the airport which was a short 30 minutes to the villa. He remained on duty to assist and give us rides anytime we needed (and he did!). He had great suggestions on the area, where to go and what to see. He also picked us fresh vegetables from the garden to make delicious Greek salads and eggplant. Christina was just lovely; she went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Besides having some basics like salt, pepper, oil and butter, she even left us fresh fruit, cookies, bread, crackers, some drinks and more. It was so refreshing arriving late and already having a fridge stocked! In decorating and outfitting the house, she really has thought of everything. She even had toys for the kids, games, water toys, arm bands, inflatable rafts and baby rafts. The beds were comfortable; sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. We just had the most perfect family vacation and are already planning our next holiday at Marathonas. Thank you Alexandros & Christina, for everything!
