Charming 2-bedroom Grade 2 listed cottage in a peaceful location at the mouth of the river Arth, in Aberarth near Aberaeron, Ceredigion. This cottage is cosy and welcoming and perfect for a peaceful break.
aberarth is an attractive small village with a meandering river, narrow streets, lovely old cottages, a disused jetty and a shingle beach where surfers can often be seen There are views across Cardigan Bay out towards Snowdonia in the distance. if you're lucky, you may see the odd dolphin or two!
beautiful sunsets and starry nights, free from light pollution, allow plenty of opportunities to spot shooting stars The Wales Coastal Path runs through the village, leading to the vibrant harbour town of Aberaeron to the south. Here you will find fantastic eateries. Sitting along the colourful harbour, enjoying one of The Hives famous honey ice creams or fish and chips on the harbour wall. Further afield, Aberystwyth and the Cambrian Mountains lie to the north and the many sandy beaches, rocky coves and fishing villages of Cardigan Bay a short distance to the south, including New Quay, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth.

The path is very narrow and uneven and may not be accessible at high tide. At the end of the path there is a sea defence which you need to climb over to get to the beach (so please take care), there is an alternative route through the village. Off-road parking for up to 2 cars.
