Two linked circuit tracks lead energetic visitors up the forested slopes to lookouts which provide views of Cairns city and suburbs, Trinity Bay, the rich, green, coastal mangrove forests lining the Barron River, the airport and the northern beaches.
i would strongly suggest a car rental, however the cairns city centre can be reached in around 40 minutes using public transport You can jump on a ten minute bus to neighbouring suburb Edge Hill and popular Cafes and Restaurants.
