freshwater is a safe neighborhood with easy access to town It’s about a 12-minute drive to catch ferries to Green Island, Fitzroy Island, or Great Barrier Reef tours. There’s also a bike path into town if you prefer cycling. The Northern Beaches are about a 20-minute drive away, and the Tablelands are perfect for a day trip. The international airport is just a 12-minute drive away.
