the location of the house is excellent Across the street is the River Walk trail that has interesting rocks, waterfalls, and a covered bridge that lead you to the harbor, restaurants, shops, and ice cream in the summer time. In the winter time, it is your "private" sledding hill. The harbor is where you can launch a boat or take the lake cruise. You can also walk to the town outdoor basketball court, baseball/soccer field, and an outdoor ice skating rink in winter time.
you will be offered beach guest parking pass so you can enjoy either the local dewey beach or georges mills beach The Dewey beach is a really nice local beach with warm clear calm water in the summer time.
