Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Very barebones but good for an unfussy traveler on a budget. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent hot water and water pressure—the best we had in Peru! There’s also a neat huaca archaeological site around the corner—we got a great tour from the huaca staff (in Spanish, unsure if English is available). It’s pretty far from most other sites of interest but the neighborhood is nice to walk around in.
Negative: The property has many beautiful murals—but they’re not in every guest room. The lack of decor felt a bit like a cell but it was still comfortable enough.
