You can come very easily from the airport through Metro network. Also from the port of Piraeus there is a direct link through the Metro network. Kerameikos metro station is 1 stop from Monastiraki and 3 from Acropolis. It’s a very safe neighborhood with a lot of shops (supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, fruit markets, traditional Greek restaurants, pharmacies, commercial shops, banks, etc.).
