the house is opposite all saints church and dates back to 1700’s and wings added in the early 1800’s From 1921 to 1957 The Old Rectory house a private school originally to look after children whose parents were serving in the armed forces in India.
the old rectory has 5 kingsize bedrooms all en-suite made up of a self contained annex with a king size bedroom and ensuite (shower) There are a further 4 kingsize bedrooms and 4 more bathrooms. sleeps 10
downstairs there are two large sitting rooms and a library The large kitchen has a large range(Aga) with 4 ovens and seating for 4. the dining room next door to the kitchen has seating for 10
there is a delightful and well maintained 2 acre garden with 2 ponds and large cedar tree there is outdoor dining seating 12
the old rectory is a traditional country house and is a family home It would suit family holidays.
