With 225 feet of lake frontage this property shares the end of a peninsula with one other house. It is considered one of the finest properties on Highland Lake. Attractive sitting areas, a screened gazebo and an expansive level yard all face the lake and distant views of Mt. Kearsarge and Ragged mountain. Full use of the lake is encouraged with a small shallow beach, a 30 foot dock, and available kayaks, canoe and paddle board. Additionally, the spacious Andover town beach is in close proximity (a few hundred yards), as is the 50 mile Northern Rail Trail (walking and biking) and a public boat ramp. All close but not too close. This is not a rental house as such; but a year-round family vacation home which is occasionally rented.
the house has 1940’s charm with many updated features including an all new kitchen The large living room/dining room has wall to wall south facing windows taking in the magnificent views while brightening the house interior. There are three well furnished bedrooms upstairs and a full bath; one of the rooms has a king bed, one a queen bed, and the third a double bed along with a bunk bed. There are two small multi use rooms off the living room and the kitchen on the main floor along with a second bathroom (with a shower). On the north side of the house is a large screened in porch. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. The house is very nicely furnished with virtually everything a renter could reasonably want.
