There are plenty of eateries to be enjoyed locally serving good food, and there are many well regarded take-away restaurants.

The city of Norwich is 13 miles away with its cathedral, theatre, castle museum, two indoor shopping centres, a market square, and a plethora of cafés and restaurants. The surrounding area has excellent birdwatching and fishing opportunities. National Trust properties nearby include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park and are all worth a visit.
