The Pressoir has 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. The kitchen is eqipped with a gas cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave, iron & board. Overlooking open countryside. We are situated in the Charente Maritime on the west coast of France. Nearby are the historic towns of La Rochelle and Rochefort & Surgeres. This area is rich in History with many forts, Romanesque churches, castles and Chateaux. Sandy beaches just 20 mins.
the 17th century farmhouse, pigeonnier & pressoir have recently been renovated to a very high standard Each gite is fully equipped with everything you would need for a fantastic holiday. We are surrounded by rolling countryside with fields of sunflowers & wheat, close to a pretty Charentaise village with local shop, bar, post office and a local restaurant specializing in local cuisine. Nearby there’s fishing, cycling, pony riding and lovely country walks.

outside there's a seating area for each of the gites, bbq, large garden, children's play area and free use of cycles There is a large 11x5 meter swimming pool secured by stone walls and a locked gate for safety reasons.
there is one off road parking space per gite in the courtyard of the farm
there's a the bar/restaurant/shop in landrais, village post office, artist studio and a garage (it's not possible to buy petrol)
