Summary: What an absolutely lovely spot! Being out on the corner of Smith Point provided such a wonderful overlook of Lake Winnipesaukee! The porch was large and a lovely place to sit and take in the lake breezes and views! The kitchen was well done (although we would add another trash can) and the rooms were lovely throughout the main house. We also enjoyed the various cabins which were all clean and ranged from rustic camp style to more up to date. Our family members loved splitting up into cabins for family space while gathering as a big group in the main house for meals and games. The trampoline was a big hit and it was nice to have a swim destination off the concrete pier. Another small point, but it would be great to have an umbrella or two down on the pier. Still, our family enjoyed fishing and boating in the lake and sitting by the fire in the evenings. It is a magnificent compound!! On the listing and the entry, there were some frustrations from the property management company. There is ample parking and NOT just the one spot indicated in the listing. The management company told us we would have to find parking in town for more than one car (even though we rented the full compound). And the entry was rough as the main lockbox was jammed and it took 3 calls to get all the additional lockbox information for the cabins/cottages. However, the stay was terrific!!
