Positive: very quaint, loved all the decor, art and antiques, felt comfortable and homey. we enjoyed sitting and watching the trout in the pond. being right on the Main Street was great, walked to all the shops, park and lake. the welcome book is a nice touch and found it helpful. we loved the history of the house and we appreciated the amenities that were there. so much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel room somewhere!
Negative: the stairs up to the second floor would likely be a problem for older couples although we personally didn’t have a problem with them but think that should be noted on the rental so others are prepared the sink in the bathroom does not drain well and should be fixed, again not a show stopper but thought we should share that with the owners a few night lights would be a good addition as well, one in the bathroom and bedroom
