if you want to get out and explore, it's 10 minutes away from the famous blue gate restaurant and the shipshewana flea market; shipshewana has shops, restaurants, the well-known blue gate theatre 13 minutes from the Michiana Event Center (MEC). Krider "World's Fair" Garden is a beautiful place to relax, right beside the Pumpkinvine Trail entrance in Middlebury IN. Nappanee has additional Amish culture with shopping, theatre, and dining. All this and more as you relax and enjoy this wonderful area full of culture and hospitality. enjoy a slower pace, aka "lake life" at our pigeon river retreat, less than a quarter mile from the mouth of pigeon lake (fyi - a no wake lake) Not only will you have a newly renovated home with great amenities, but also you'll be able to jump on the river with our provided kayaks (pictures coming soon & please use the provided adult life jackets). There are miles of river and lakes that you can explore by entering right off our dock. Enjoy a peaceful day fishing in the river or in the lake, there is a public boat ramp just south of the property about a half mile.
