Adobe casita on a 3 acre property separated from owners home by 7' rock wall and stockade fencing. 8 min. from historic Old Mesilla with eclectic dining, S.W. gift shops, a brewery & winery. The casita is nestled amongst desert trees/bushes where desert critters hide, very private and quiet. Traveling nurses and docs love staying here. Fully appointed with every thing you need to settle in--just bring your toothbrush. The interior is very clean, see pics. Wi-Fi and satellite TV, washer & dryer. Out side the covered patio has a great view of the desert around you, the Rio Grande river and city lights of Las Cruces.

A small raised garden borders the patio & a small pet door enters the casita. Our property is fenced for a large animal so you can bring your horse. Quiet pets welcome-$100. refundable deposit. If your pet creates other damage in excess of deposit (chewing-scratching)-you will be charged for repairs. Lovely homes on large acreage make up neighborhood---very quiet. Meet locals walking their dogs on the roads or arroyos. A State run Bird Sanctuary is adjacent to the river below us--Sand Hill Cranes arrive there for the winter. We will direct you to local attractions such as Indian petroglyphs, hiking trails in the mts. a horse back riding outfit, shopping for crafts in Mexico. This property has been rented short and long term by word of mouth for 15 yrs and we can provide you names for referral. This is first time listing on a public domain.
