This charming two story house is right in downtown Island Falls, a mile off I-95, and 27 miles from Houlton and the Canadian border. It offers three cozy bedrooms, having twin, queen, and king beds. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like Spectrum WiFi, and a 55 inch 4G TV. The house will be comfortable with three mini split HVAC heating and cooling units having separate remotes. And, if needed, there’s a washing machine and dryer for clean clothes. The bathroom is stocked with personal care accessories including soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc so you'll feel right at home. This adorable “town camp” is the perfect retreat for guests looking for a comfortable and relaxing four seasons getaway. The kitchen has appliances including a new refrigerator, electric range, coffeemaker, toaster, air fryer, and an instant cook pot. The back lawn has a grill, table. Within walking distance, there are several credit unions, a post office, a general store/supermarket, a pub, restaurant, museum, library, and even a yoga spa. All this - only a walk way in this quiet small town! An ATV trail is only 50 yards from the house, and the Mattawamkeag River town boat access is 1/4 mile down the road! Moreover, within five miles there are three lakes with public boat access for going fishing for those landlocked salmon! Baxter State Park is nearby and is wonderful for leaf watching, hiking, mountain climbing, or renting a canoe or Kayak (only a dollar an hour!) at their breathtakingly beautiful wilderness ponds! It’s a 2&1/4 hour drive to Acadia National Park where there are beaches, ocean excursions complete with tour guides pointing out the history and live wildlife of Frenchman’s Bay. The town of Island Falls owns a lot of forest land and allows free hunting on it. There are many state ATV trails, a nearby golf course, and in winter, ice fishing and snowmobiling.
