Winterton’s circular walks and nature reserve, and fishing, boat trips and boat hire on the beautiful Norfolk Broads are all just a few miles away. Visit the grey seal colony and their pups at Horsey Gap Beach (between November - February). For children there is the treetop adventure park of BeWILDerwood at Horning, and family fun time at Great Yarmouth. Alternatively, visit the fine city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, museums, theatres and shopping. Walking, sailing, fishing, birdwatching and cycle hire all available locally.
