Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Relaxed vibe, very boutique feel with gorgeous decor everywhere..24 hr access to pool. Record player. Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. Grounds felt really private and well maintained. Free parking. We stayed in 2 different rooms, both were lovely but preferred the pool bungalow for privacy and space. I can see why celebs choose to stay here. We wished we could stay longer but it was fully booked so they helped us book their sister hotel next door (Magdelena) which was also cute decor wise, great brekky & staff etc but had a lot of guests and was more rowdy and less personal than St Cecilia’s. Big shout out to Tara who looked after us, extended our stay and made sure a pregnancy pillow and heavy bags were sorted out ☺️
Negative: Almost everything was perfect but sadly the food/cafe needs work. Everything we had was overly salted, even the butter for croissants had like a teaspoon of salt on top. Sadly the morning coffee was either incorrect or awful everytime. There was 0 consistency. A flat white is not filtered coffee with a dash of milk. They always seemed to forget sugar. A trained barista and a chef who is not so heavy handed on the salt would step things up a level.
Summary: Gorgeous property, fab staff - will stay again. ❤️
