Summary: We just stayed at Family Tides for the second time, it is a fabulous location in Hopetown. We had four couples so everyone had their own bedroom and bath which made it perfect for all.We always rent a boat so we can island hop every day within the sea of Abaco. There also is a ferry to go to the restaurants and get to grocery stores nearby. Golf carts are available to rent so access to the island of Hopetown is easily accessible for most everything.I would highly recommend Family Tides as a home base, it is extremely well equipped to make any meals of your choice including grilling fish, steak or burgers. A nice bar for a quick lunch or a large dining table for eight guests to enjoy a wonderful dinner with friends. The dishwasher makes clean up a breeze and a washer and dryer to keep things tidy. The spacious living room is comfy for watching TV in the evening. The front porch has a spectacular view of the lighthouse and harbor dotted with beautiful vessels of all sizes.This is a perfect getaway for a large family or several couples to spend a week of fun and frolic in paradise.Kathi Burns and delighted friends from Maine.
