Originally a 14th century toll-house at the entrance to the riverside village of Avoise, this unique property is now an ideal holiday home for those seeking a quiet and relaxing break in this beautiful region.
outer stone steps lead up to the entrance of the property (middle floor) and into the living and kitchen area A spiral staircase leads up to the bedroom, shower and separate WC on the top floor. The ground floor has a separate external entrance and is currently used as a utility room (washing machine, dryer) and bike storage (two bicycles are provided).
the bedroom has ancient ceiling beams and is equipped with a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, hanging cupboard, drawers and a washbasin The shower and (separate) WC are en-suite.
the living / dining room has a two-seater sofa, arm-chair, coffee table, high-top dining table & chairs, dresser, dvd player, bose speaker, apple tv, and ceramic wall-mounted heater There are large windows overlooking the access lane to the river. The compact kitchen facilities have recently been upgraded and include a cooktop, full oven, fridge with small freezer, Nespresso machine, toaster, and kettle.
