both stations take you to boston downtown, or mit in 30 minutes aprox
best way to commute to boston for a family? park your car in alewife station and take the subway

biking/jogging/walking:
the minuteman bikeway is very close by and it is a fantastic path for cycling, walking or jogging It’s flat, scenic and historical. Start at Alewife Station in Cambridge and make your way to Bedford, passing through Arlington and Lexington along the way. pack some snacks and enjoy the ride!
