The views from the house overlook the mature birch, pine, maple, and hemlock forest; home to many woodland animals and birds. There is a short walk down a trail that leads to a sandy and river stone beach area that is for public access to the lake. This is also a Tip of the Thumb Water Trail marked site. Great place for more private beach use.
