hibiki house is a modern style machiya house, a perfect fusion of traditional japanese architecture and western comfort It was born from a project in collaboration with Kyoto University and obtained the certification of "Hesei no Kyo-machiya". Conceptually, a "Heisei no Kyo Machiya" house is not just a building, it must also have an open space. This space is an important element in the composition of the house and it fulfills various functions: it allows better flow of winds for natural air conditioning in the house, and maximum brightness thanks to the sliding doors and large windows that are installed.
