the 4th arrondissement is located in the centre of paris It is very touristy, including half of the Ile de la Cité (with the Notre-Dame cathedral), all of Ile St. Louis, plus a good part of the Marais, on the right bank. During the day, its stone architecture and narrow streets in the Middle Ages style are admired. On foot, make a detour to Ile de la cité, the cradle of Paris. As a seat of power for many centuries, the Ile de la Cité is the perfect place to walk. Speaking of walks, the Rue François Miron may hold a few surprises for you and fill your eyes with wonder.
