gorham is a gateway to over 1400 miles of atv trail systems and 6 interconnected parks (including jericho state park) There are numerous hiking trails and ATV / snowmobile trails within easy reach. Rentals are available from “Northeast” or "White Mt ATV" on Main Street.

close to mount washington (auto road - 10 mins to the base area), great glen trails (10 mins), wildcat ski area (<15 mins) and numerous hiking trails including tuckerman's ravine - trailhead located by the appalachian mountain club visitor center in pinkham notch
sunday river and attitash are both <35 minutes away, cranmore mountain and bretton woods are 40 minutes away
the androscoggin river can be accessed from main st (route 2) near gorham airport
for river adventures, check out north woods rafting just up rt 16 in milan
for family days out, santa’s village and story land / living shores aquarium are all under half an hour away
please note: this is an old house and as such has its creaks and quirks The floors are not all level, the walls are crooked in places and there will be random noises but nothing to worry about.
