The Chateau was then built by Rene Honde in 1854 as a private residence for Count Rochenfoucauld and his family. Beautiful landscaped gardens, and a private lake, offset the grandeur of the stone edifice. At the Chateau Fairytale, all of the accommodations have been refurbished to a standard that offers the grand design of the nineteenth century, with the luxury of 21st century technology.
