Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: A charming and characterful building on the high street with stylish large rooms, near cafes and restaurants. Our bathroom was large with a big shower and lovely free standing roll-top bath. Despite being on the high street the double glazed windows kept it quiet. The owner is relatively new and keen to expand and improve the venue, being an old building there are some areas of outstanding maintenance to catch up on . Memhet was friendly and helpful, we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace at the back which is a delightful place to eat overlooking the beautiful 18c church of St. swithuns.
Negative: Being an old building there are some decorative issues to catch up with . If you are old or infirm there are a flight of stairs up to the rooms.
