Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Absolutely loved this villa and it was perfect for our group of three couples. Well equipped kitchen, hairdryers in each room, great tv and sound system and plenty of plug sockets. Anti mozzie plugs also provided which was a bonus - thanks Panos . And bug screens on all doors and windows! Great aircon too. Lovely clean pool ; the owner arranged for the pool and pool area to be cleaned discretely during our stay (so discrete I only spotted him three times but it was definitely done frequently.) Comfortable beds and sun beds, pool towels (which we washed half way through the holiday with the washing machine in the property and supplied laundry items) . Panos met us on our arrival and greeted us with a drink and some bread and fruit. A starter supply of essential consumables also left for us including a few beers. A bottle of champagne was left in the wine fridge for us to use too. Anything we needed, Panos was there to help almost immediately. He also helped us with recommending a taxi service as taxis aren’t plentiful in this area . He checked us out at the end of our stay and although we broke one small cup, he didn’t deduct it from our deposit which was more than reasonable. There were two big supermarkets (one Lidl) within a 15 minute walk too) . We were given lots of tips and advice on where to go and what to see. Next time , in this location we would hire a car for the whole week rather than just the two days.

Negative: The only thing that we didn’t like, and we’re really struggling to think of something … the sun disappeared from the patios around 4pm, but that probably wouldn’t bother most people anyway
