This home creates a perfect retreat from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.
forest manor is a rustic, private/secluded estate situated on 17+ acres abundant with wildlife The home's old world charm includes barn wood flooring and trim, a glass atrium dining area and multiple fireplaces including an outdoor, wood burning fireplace on the east wing brick patio. The home is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and wildlife. The house is over 6,000 sq ft. and includes 2 master bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a wonderful bar area, a theatre room and recreation room with a pool table. There is large back patio with new decking, and built in grill. Please note - The house was built to replicate an authentic civil war home and might not be appropriate for guests with mobility issues or unsupervised children as some staircases have no railings, some stairs are very steep and narrow, some flooring may be uneven and the barn wood floors have knots/holes as they are original. Guests do not have access to any of the multiple out buildings (shed, garage, chicken coop, lodge building w/garage on the left when driving towards the house). We have not control over nature - you may encounter bugs (bees, spiders, flies, etc.) and animals such as deer, fox, snakes bears, etc. as the area is their natural habitat..
