The Lübbesee may not be navigated with combustion engines and is therefore a popular body of water for swimming, canoeing and fishing. The entire region is a refuge for cyclists, water hikers and nature lovers, there are several newly created cycle paths, the popular, approx. 25 km long Lübbesee circular route leads through extensive forest areas once completely around the lake, smaller catering establishments and shopping facilities are located directly in the villages or in nearby Milmersdorf. In addition, the thermal brine spa of Templin, the tourist centre of the Uckermark, is approx. 8 km away and offers further restaurants, cafés, shopping facilities, outdoor swimming pools, a beautiful natural thermal spa, boat hire and passenger boat trips.
