Positive: The house is located in a very nice, quiet area in the Spreewald region. The house was easily accessible in a contactless fashion. The apartment has a very good layout, well renovated, warm (this was especially important as it was late autumn during our stay), and thoughtfully decorated, especially the garden. Very clean.
Negative: - The apartment's description should've made it clear that one of the beds has a waterbed mattress. Waterbed can be a deal breaker since it can be very uncomfortable and unexpected for some. - The host did not provide enough equipment for a short stay. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper and we had to ask the host to bring more (host originally wanted to give one more, I had to insist on 2). There were only two very small rubbish bags. There was only a single dishwasher tablet. There weren't any cleaning supplies besides a vacuum. I understand that the host wants to save costs, but the host shouldn't expect guests on a short stay buying these. This equipment should be provided at this price point. - Flimsy, low quality, old wooden high chair. seemed very unsecure. - Grill is prominently included in the description and pictures, but not enough grill supplies are provided. - Although not enough supplies are provided, there are paid, overpriced items such as few eggs for 2 EUR, Spreewald themed drinks for 1.5 upwards with camera monitored external fridge. Get priorities straight and don't make guests feel like you want to rip them off.
Summary: Very nice surroundings, renovated, clean apartment, but not well equipped for a short term stay
