Summary: The interior of the lodge is very well done! The owner was very responsive. It was clean but the stainless steel appliances should be cleaned on the outside and the garbage can needs a quick wash. We walked in to the lodge and it was cold and with the heating system it takes a while to warm up. Ask the owner to turn the heat on before your arrival. Come prepared with coffee, food etc, the location is very remote with very little nearby! We found a cute family restaurant but didn’t come with coffee and nothing was close. The drive to seven springs wasn’t bad but plan on 15-20 min drive.
