This house was built in 1888 but was completely remodeled in 2016 to update all the amenities and to revive the beautiful historical details. This house is situated on 75 acres of woods and farm ground near Lake Shafer in Buffalo, IN. It is approximately 10 miles North of Indiana Beach. It is secluded enough for a much needed get away but located close enough to enjoy all the activities the area has. This house is great for families and for a couples get away. The parking area is large enough for several vehicles as well as a boat trailer. There are several boat launches close by for boating on Lake Shafer or Lake Freeman. If you don't have a boat of your own, there are rental places in the area that rent boats and wave runners.
the house is approximately 1700 sq ft and has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with central a/c The master bedroom is on the 1st floor and has a queen size bed. The first bedroom upstairs doubles as a TV room, but has a twin size trundle bed that sleeps two. The second bedroom upstairs has a king size bed and the third upstairs bedroom has two twin sized beds. There is also a separate laundry room and office area on the first floor. The kitchen and bathroom are fully furnished with items to get your stay started. We would recommend bringing additional items for longer stays. All linens are provided. This house also has an enclosed front porch great for relaxing.
