smoking/vaping
our properties are *smoke-free* homes, first and foremost Smoking is NOT allowed inside any of our properties under any circumstances.
outdoor smoking rule: smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of any door to the property
outdoor evidence of smoking: any evidence of smoking outside (including cigarette butts, leftover joints, marijuana scraps, pipes, vapes, etc) will be promptly disposed of and will result in a $75 fine. This includes any remnants left in fire pits or other un-designated smoking areas.
indoor smoking penalty: if smoking is detected inside the property, a minimum fine of $250 will be applied, along with reimbursement for any revenue lost from blocked nights required for smoke removal
smoke/vape detection: please note that some of our properties are equipped with smoke and vape detection sensors integrated into the noise monitoring system These devices alert us to potential violations, ensuring our smoke-free policy is upheld.
enforcement process: our cleaners report any signs of smoking immediately upon arrival, followed by a secondary inspection to confirm and document the issue The incident is then reported to the booking platform without delay.
