Positive: It was within walking distance of a beach and some small cafes and restaurants which were lovely. An Uber took us to the Rua das Pedras area (about 10 minutes) for shopping and nightlife. Ubers work so well, easy to get and great value. Although there seem to be many negatives below, the house and the area have a charm that is unique and I along with my husband, adult son and his friend loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend it.
Negative: The house is quite basic and could do with a few repairs which would make a big difference eg press and wardrobe doors need new hinges, one of the bathrooms has a door which needs a new lock. The rug in the living area and the cushion covers and some of the kitchen utensils didn't appear completely clean.
Summary: Lovely place to stay in Buzios.
