this two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by eli reeves, an indiana furniture maker In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. if these logs could talk!
the first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that If you do an internet search for the cabin name you will see our 185 plus all 5 star reviews.
we set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.
we are a working fiber farm raising rare breed sheep, llamas and alpacas
we have chickens for farm fresh eggs for you
plenty of firewood for the wood burning fireplace and central heat and air
we are 4 miles from main street in weaverville and 11 miles from asheville right up i-26.

Summary: Truly, a wonderful cabin and property. If you are looking to have a respite from the normal day to day life, this is place to be. Walking into the cabin with its rustic design and decor you feel an instant sense of peacefulness, with the wood fireplace adding to overall experience. Its location being close to Asheville and other neighboring towns offers guests the ability to venture out to explore and still return to a peaceful and beautiful cabin and property. We will definitely be returning.
