Positive: The cottage is recently refurbished and situated on the north Devon coastal path. The cottage is lovely, has an enclosed garden, that has been well planted so is a lovely place to sit and relax. The cottage has been thoughtfully refurbished. It is tastefully decorated and well equipped. There is a lovely ingle nook fire place, that is a real feature in the sitting room. The kitchen has everything you need and the bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of storage and plugs. There is a steep staircase that has a hand rail, this is a thatched cottage so you expect these features. The beams are beautiful. The hosts Karol and Nigel are lovely. They make sure that your stay is everything you would expect. We took our Jack Russell terrier who loved their sheepdog Spuddy. This really is a place to relax and unwind. The coastal paths are really good. The habitat is great for bird and my husband saw a Grasshopper Warbler and Cirl Bunting which made his holiday. We walked miles and slept soundly in the lovely large beds.
