Our recently renovated detached bungalow in the beautiful Scottish Borders is a tranquil getaway.
two bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms and the 3rd bedroom has use of the family bathroom with double ended bath and overhead shower The open plan kitchen, dining and living area is ideal for socialising, whilst a separate snug/TV room provides a cosy retreat. The bifold doors lead out from the dining area onto a south facing decking and private garden. There is ample parking including a carport.
the house is on the banks of the river tweed, by the southern upland way, just a10 minute stroll from melrose, a charming rural town yet with frequent transport links to edinburgh Famous for its Abbey and as the home of Rugby Sevens, Melrose has restaurants, coffee houses and an array of independent boutique shops. Abbotsford House, the home of Walter Scott, is a 5 min drive away. Melrose Golf Club is a 9-hole golf course nestled at the foot of the Eildon Hills.
