please note that do to our mild coastal weather we don't have central air conditioning--nor do most homes so near the ocean However, there are two portable air conditioning units (one in the bedroom and one in the family room), which work well to cool the space on the rare days that it's overly warm. Also, the architect designed the house to have excellent cross-ventilation, the bedroom has a ceiling fan, and we provide moveable fans too.
