In the front yard there is a softball park, complete with teeter-totters, slide, swings and fire pit. The house has hardwood floors and is pet friendly. The small town of Whalan is located just 4 miles east of Lanesboro. You can walk, drive, swim, kayak, bike, or canoe between the two towns. The property is located just one block off the Root River State Bicycle Trail and about 3 blocks from the World Famous Pie Shop.
this 100+ year old house has been moved, from its original location across from the pie shop, and is now overlooking gator greens mini golf The house has been gutted to the studs and totally redone. Great location for the cycling enthusiasts of all ages. Whalan is located just 4 miles from Lanesboro, and 8 miles from Peterson. It is some of the flattest parts of the trail, offering great views of the bluffs as well as the river.
absolutely no atvs on property Dogs are allowed, however we do ask that you clip your pets nails as the hardwood floors have been resurfaced in March 2022. Dogs are an additional cost per night ask for details..
