a wood fired rayburn (for cooking and hot water), stairs to 1st floor And a dining table and chairs for 6 people to dine, or play family board games.

Kettles can be boiled and toast made on these too. There is no microwave or iron, to reduce electricity consumption and environmental impact. Both a freezer and washing machine at the castle are available on request and free of charge.

vehicle access to the cottage is via a narrow hard lane through gardens & woodland Parking for up to 3 cars. Alternatively guests are welcome to leave their cars (max 3) by the Castle and walk the 600 yards to the cottage. luggage can be delivered if required
constant hot water and electricity are supplied by the sun via pv cells and solar panels (Occasionally topped up by a generator if necessary so you never go without power.) Complemented by the modern wood fired Rayburn which already provides you with central heating. An ample stock of free wood for the Rayburn and wood burning stove are supplied..
