situated in the heart of colyford village between sidmouth and lyme regis, in an aonb and within a conservation area, higher bolshayne offers cosy, comfortable and spacious accommodation Perfect location to explore the beautiful countryside and beaches of East Devon. We have two village pubs, a fish and chip shop, post Office/village shop, a cafe and the famous Seaton tramway which runs from Colyton, through Colyford and the beautiful wetlands to Seaton.
dogs
two well behaved dogs are allowed but we ask that they be kept off the furniture and are not permitted upstairs please ensure you pick up dog mess and dispose!
the aga
the house does have an aga and is a feature of a traditional old english house It can get fairly warm and cannot be switched off as it heats the hot water too. We do advise that you keep little ones away from it in the same way you would an conventual oven. it is great for slow cooking if you wanted to put something in before you head out for the day and then come home to lovely home cooked meal!
logs
logs are not provided but we can provide some for £10 per basket Please request upon booking.
