Positive: The apartment itself was modern, clean, and generally okay, but the experience was overshadowed by several issues with its electrical fittings, faults, and the management agency’s inability to assist remotely
Negative: First, the entry code box for the main building didn’t work. The agency’s advice was to “blow on the device or wipe it warm”—not very helpful when arriving from freezing cold weather. Upon departure, the elevators didn’t work with the code either, and instead, the key tag was required. However, the checkout instructions required me to leave the keys upstairs, making it a frustrating challenge to get to the garage. Inside the apartment, the heating was disappointing, with room temperatures ranging between 18-21°C despite being set to maximum. This made the apartment feel cold and uncomfortable, particularly in winter. Additionally, a ventilation fan ran non-stop in one bedroom and one bathroom, creating significant noise and disrupting sleep. It couldn’t be turned off using the electric panel, and the agency was unable to assist remotely. Adding to the frustration, on both nights of my stay, the blinds suddenly went up by themselves. On the final night, they stopped functioning entirely, and it was impossible to lower them, compromising privacy and comfort. Before check-in, there was also an issue with payment. Although Booking.com stated that no prepayment was required, the agency contacted me via phone and WhatsApp two weeks prior, claiming the credit card information on Booking.com was incorrect. They sent a payment link and pressured me to pay in advance. The credit card information was fine, but I voluntarily paid via Booking.com to calm the situation. This felt unprofessional and contrary to the booking terms. Finally, the agency offered a late checkout option and allowed me to book it, but later canceled due to “staff limitations.” This was poorly handled and frustrating. While the apartment itself had potential, the low temperatures, malfunctioning blinds, nonstop ventilation noise, and unhelpful management significantly impacted the experience. I hope improvements are made to enhance the stay for future guests.
