polzeath is a popular surfing spot for swimmers and surfers, and there are plenty of places to hire surfboards and wetsuits Avid walkers can follow the Cornish Coastal Path from Port Isaac around the Pentire Headland and down towards Polzeath Beach. This is a 3-4 hour hike one way, but there are regular buses should your legs get too tired to walk back! East of Port Isaac you will find Tintagel, a quaint seaside village well-known for its historic castle. There is a lovely walk from here up to Boscastle, which follows the clifftops and provides sensational coastal views.

due to the remote nature of cornwall we would highly recommend bringing a car to make the most of your time here Port Isaac is a very old fishing village built before cars were even a consideration, so as a result very few properties - including the cottage - have parking. However, a carpark is located just one minute walk away and costs £10 per day.
