our self catering holiday rental cottage is set among the beautiful countryside of the charente, ablaze with sunflowers during the summer There are extensive grounds to explore and a good sized shared swimming pool over 13m long (you will find you often have this to yourselves, it is shared with our neighbour but rarely used during the school holidays) located in an elevated spot in the grounds looking across a picturesque valley. Our spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is furnished & equipped to a high standard to complement the wealth of character features. All the bathrooms and kitchen have been recently upgraded. From the entrance hall there is access to the galleried upstairs hall, a double bedroom, cloakroom and the kitchen diner.The master bedroom has a king sized 4 poster bed, en suite bathroom with bath/shower and far reaching views. A large family room has a double bed with comfy topper plus a single bed and a good sized twin room share the use of a further bathroom with bath/shower. Downstairs is a cool bedroom which has a double bed with sprung mattress and heat control memory foam topper. This room has a bath/shower in the en-suite.
